I know I've been super MIA from Livejournal, but I am definitely still active. I just spend most of my time on Tumblr. If you're over there please add me or send me a link to your Tumblr and I'll add you! I always get excited when I see my old LJ buddies over there. :D

Okay, so this was originally gonna be an OWBC, but all the kids got me so distracted that I kept forgetting about the challenge parts, so I decided I'm going to plop my first Gen heir on a empty 5x5 lot Legacy style, but still call it Gen 2. Not that any of that is relevant to the poll. ;)
My Legacy spouse wanted six hitched kids and had three sets of twins (naturally with the FT bonus) and this is the heir pool we have to choose from:

I really want to post more often and this is my attempt. The pictures are pretty jumbled and unrelated. They represent a few months of playing. It's all Pleasantview stuff. Hillendale is still kicking around, but I haven't had the drive to play it since the reinstall a few months ago.

I'm thinking about trying to learn how to mesh and I'll probably be playing around with it tomorrow.
I have a couple questions for the simmers out there who mesh. :D
I'm gonna be trying out FantasyRogue's tutorial for separating a top, because it seems thorough, but do-able. Do you guys have a particular tutorial that you found very helpful in the beginning that you wouldn't mind sharing with me?
Do you think it is easier to age convert a mesh or seperate a top? CatofEvilGenius already separated the top I want, but it's for teens instead of adults. And the maxis mesh has already been age converted by Cloudless, I think. So it's just a matter of which way to start.
Also, is there anything special that you have to do when you make a dress into a top only mesh or will just following FantasyRogue's tutorial work fine? Any special tutorials out there for top only dress meshes?

I just spent three hours+++ making over the Caliente's Salon and Boutique, getting the business from level 2 to level 5, getting Dina up to Gold Sales and Nina up to Silver Cashiering and the two employees up to bronze in their assigned duties, not to mention making over half the townie population only to have it all crash and disappear. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU...............!@&^&%
I don't mind losing the experience and makeovers, I just hope I managed to save after I made over the lot. I really liked it. boohoo. Hope you guys are having a nice Sunday. Anyone celebrate Vietnamese New Year? My bosses invited me to a party at their temple. I'm going for the food. :D
